There are a lot of great foods that people must try while they are in Buenos Aires. The first food is an empanada. An empadada is a bread that is stuffed with a variety of different ingredients. These ingredients can include cheese, meat, vegetables, and for a sweet one some fruit. The second food is Alfajores. Alfajores is a sweet pastry known as biscuits that is sandwiched with dulce de leche and dipped into some grated up coconut flakes. This is one of the most popular desserts that people in Buenos Aires have for dessert around Christmas time.

The third food is Dulce de Leche. Dulce de Leche is a milk sauce with sugar that looks a lot like a caramel sauce. It is used in a variety of different desserts. The fourth food is Helado. Helado is just an another word for ice cream. But their ice cream is known as gelato. This is because gelato is a very creamy sorbet type ice cream. The fifth food is Medialunas. Medialunas is a breakfast pastry that is formed in the shape of a crescent moon. It can be filled with a savory or sweet mixture.

These are the top five foods that people have to try in Buenos Aires.

Here are some can’t miss attractions in the Argentinian capital.
Take in a Game: Boca is the team to cheer for here in BA and you’ll never have a more raucous time than when you take in a game for yourself. Prepare to pay a pretty penny for tickets but have more fun than you’ve ever had at a sporting event in your life.
Head to Plaza de Mayo: The square’s been around for centuries and you’ll likely be visiting with 100s of other tourists. If you’re lucky you may catch a tango lesson by the fountain or a live musical performance.
Caf Tortoni: If you want coffee, head to the most famous caf in Buenos Aires – you’ll have to wait a while for a table but the atmosphere is unbeatable and it’s something you’ll be glad to check off your list.

After the sun has fallen, the nightlife in Buenos Aires is just revving up. No matter your budget, this sophisticated city has something to offer. Be prepared, the excitement in Buenos Aires lasts clear into the predawn hours.

If you are wanting to get the most out of your dinning experience, consider eating a late night supper. Most restaurants in the city begin to come alive after 10pm. One of the most visited restaurants is Parrilla. At Parrilla you will mix with the locals and enjoy their world famous barbecue beef. While there, enjoy the sounds of local bands and make sure to bring your dance shoes. The restaurant is family friendly but leave the kids home if you are visiting after 10pm.

For the sophisticated traveler, Gran Bar Danzon offers a unique experience. While this is not a full service restaurant, some of the most famous wines can be sampled at this happening bar. Make sure to stop by the pool bar for a relaxing tropical experience. After all that food and wine, you will want to burn off those extra calories. Niceto is a popular dance all featuring Argentinian music. There is a small cover charge for entrance.

Dining opportunities in Buenos Aires are wonderful and varied. The city has a large population of Italian descendents, so delicious pasta and pizza can be found in many restaurants. There is also a Sephardic Jewish presence in the city, so eastern Mediterranean dishes can be found as well. Buenos Aires is a port city, so seafood is readily available. And there is the wonderful Latin American dish called the empinada, a fried or baked pastry, stuffed with meat or other appetizing foods.

But ultimately, dining in Buenos Aires means eating beef. Parillas are everywhere in the city, and the meat they serve comes straight from cattle grass-fed on the Pampas. Sure, it-s often served with French fries, ensalada, and many other sides, but the beef is the main dish, and there-s lots of it. Virtually all cuts are available. Entrana (flank steak), medalion de lomo (tenderloin), bife de chorizo (T-bone), and ojo de bife (rib-eye) can be found in most restaurants, and are typically less expensive than the same entrees in the United States and other countries. The chorizo sausages can satisfy any carnivore, and sweetbreads and tripe are also available.

Be prepared to stay out late though. Dinner in Buenos Aires doesn-t usually begin until after 8:00.

Buenos Aires is a top tourist destination and known for its European style. It is the second largest metropolitan area in South America. Buenos Aires has a variety of different restaurants suited for many tastes and preferences. My personal favorite is Cabana las Lilas, an Argentinean restaurant best known for its Argentine beef. A very popular restaurant with outside and indoor seating. La Parolaccia DI Mare with its marine inspired decor, is another restaurant to go to if in the mood for delicious seafood, or Italian food. If you enjoy people watching Lola restaurant is the place to be. Lola is frequented by artists and many prominent business people. It is known for its delicious international food, prepared by a great French chef. If your in the mood for asian food head to Katrine, a high end restaurant located along the dock in the Puerto Madero area. Spettus Steak House is a buffet restaurant with a family oriented atmosphere, and specializes in Brazilian cuts of meat. The restaurant is pretty reasonably priced for the amount of food that you get. If your looking for a carribean flare head to Pizza Banana, and enjoy pizza carribean style. if dancing is your forte Pizza Banana is the place to go. La Querencia is a good choice if you like a very small and quiet atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced and known for its delicious Argentinian food. If your looking for a restaurant where many celebrities hang out, the place to be is Los Inmortale , specializes in international and Mediterranean food. The restaurant even delivers and has a great boutique for shopping. A nice European restaurant to visit is Cala Bistro. A great place to eat breakfast or brunch in my opinion is Cafe Tortoni, home for Argentine literati, the arts and cognoscenti. Filo is the place to be if you want European Italian food and have a passion for fashion. If you are looking to eat sushi than Osaka ia a great place is to dine, Make sure you make reservation at this popular chain of restaurants. last but not least is Cafe La Biela, a great place for coffee and a croissant and to just sit back, relax and enjoy all the wonderful people the city has to offer.Still bored?
